The funds raised from this film went to assist Jasmine, a single mother of two. Jasmine was in a car wreck at the beginning of February. The doctor had her out of work for the month. She lives paycheck to paycheck and knew she would be late on March’s rent, but thought she could catch up when she went back to work. Jasmine’s complex filed a detainer warrant immediately after her March’s rent was late adding court fees. The added fees made it impossible for Jasmine pay the balance before an eviction. Rooftop stopped the eviction and stabilized Jasmine’s household.
