Renee

Rooftop client

It seems as if things had a domino effect for Renee after having her baby.  Because she did not have FMLA on her job, she had to reapply for her position after being out for six weeks following the birth of the baby. When she applied for public assistance such as Families First, food stamps, she was told that she lost her job due to her own fault, and she was not provided any assistance at that time. When she was able to return to work, her employer not only decreased her hours from 45-50/week to 30 hours, but also decreased her pay from $11.50 to 10.50/hr. Renee and her fiance are hopeful that things will turn around for them in the future. With the help of Rooftop, they are current with their rent and will be able to stay in their home.
