Many Davidson County residents are finding themselves facing eviction. Jayden and her young daughter were one of them. Jayden works at a local hotel. She was furloughed during the begining of the pandemic and received unemployment. She's been called back to work at reduced hours. Her daughter is in elementary school and has often been home due to virtual school. Jayden pays what she can each month, but if she doesn't have the full amount a late fee is added. Courts were closed until April 1, but Jayden's landlord had filed for a warrant in 2020 and she had a court date of mid-April. Rooftop was able to work with the landlord and the court to resolve her case prior to the court date.
